ACROSS AGES
Across Ages is an intergenerational one-on-one mentoring program matching students in 5th, 6th and 7th grades with senior adults over age 50. Funded in part by Two Rivers Health and Wellness Foundation. Served over 190 students and their families in the past Eighteen years.
THE ROUNDTABLE

High School Mentoring Program – Business and community volunteers provide role modeling, share their experiences and provide career information for Pen Argyl High School students to encourage completion of high school and encourage higher education aspirations (in partnership with Slate Belt Chamber of Commerce). Presently, 80 High School students in grades 9 - 12 are participating in the program. A total of 940 students have participated in the program.
AFTER SCHOOL TUTORING AND HOMEWORK ASSISTANCE
Beginning Fall 2008, the program serves 45 middle school students needing additional assistance to succeed in school. Taught by certified retired and active teaching staff, the program also provides a physical activity, snack, and bus transportation home. Students rotate out of the program as they meet success, allowing new students to participate. The program serves 45 students, with a waiting list. As of this year there have been 414 students complete the program.
​ADOPT-A-FAMILY
Adopt-a-Family Giving Program connects groups, families and churches with families in need to provide gifts and food to make the holidays merry (and other times of the year, if needed). Provided over 1,668 needy families and children with gifts and food in the last Seventeen years.
FAMILIES FIRST SCHOLARSHIP
Families First $500 Scholarship annually awarded to a Pen Argyl High School senior committed to volunteerism and community service. 24 Scholarships have been awarded to date.

KINDERGARTEN TOTE BAGS

Kindergarten “Welcome to Reading” Packets aredistributed to all families at Kindergarten registration – Distributed 1,718 Tote Bags over the past ten years through collaboration with Binney & Smith (crayons & markers), US Government (books), Pen Argyl Area School District, and donations.
